Hi Dan! It’s only after working on philosophy for quite some time that I came to realize it is generally devoid of intellectual value, and it was a fairly depressing realization. Nor does philosophy have much value for students, who are generally only bs-ing you when they tell you how they enjoyed your course and how it changed their lives.
